CONFESSION Is Still Good for the Soul 3 Day Devotional

Day 3: Confession Leads to Healing

Scripture: Luke 18:14 – “I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted”

Reflection:
Confession isn’t the end of the story—it’s the beginning of healing. Jesus said the tax collector—the one who confessed—left justified. Not because he got it all right, but because he admitted he got it wrong.

Healing doesn’t mean consequences disappear. Sometimes the scar stays. But the wound no longer owns you. Your scar becomes your story, not your sentence.

Confession clears the way for restoration—not because you got it all right, but because you finally stopped pretending.

Devotional Thought:
What would healing look like for me today? Have I withheld healing or forgiveness from someone who came to me in humility?

Prayer Prompt:
Jesus, I need Your healing. I need Your mercy. I confess not because I’m perfect—but because I know I’m broken. Cleanse me. Restore me. Justify me. Let my scar point to Your glory.
