Day 2: Accept the Gift of Rest
Scripture:
“He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.” – Psalm 23:2 (NKJV)
Reflection:
Rest is not optional—it’s essential. And yet, we often resist it. We fill our calendars, stretch our energy, and pride ourselves on being busy. But God, in His mercy, sometimes intervenes. He doesn’t just invite us to rest—He makes us lie down.
Still waters are not just about quiet—they’re about peace. God leads us to spaces of renewal, but we must stop running long enough to receive it. Green pastures are not signs of punishment, but provision. Let God slow you down before life does.
Prayer Prompt:
God, I surrender my busyness. Lead me to stillness. Teach me the wisdom of rest, and let me embrace the peace You offer.

Are there ways you’ve been resisting the rest God is trying to give you—physically, emotionally, or spiritually?
