Day 1: Covenant Love for God and Others

Scripture: Ephesians 5:31-32 (NLT)
"As the Scriptures say, ‘A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.’ This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one."

Reflection for Married People:
Marriage is a covenant rooted in God’s faithfulness. Just as Christ’s love for the church is
unbreakable, so should our love and commitment reflect His grace. Are you treating your
marriage as a sacred partnership, or has it become transactional?

Reflection for Singles:
Even if you are not in a marriage covenant, you are part of a greater covenant—the one between Christ and the church. Your relationship with God is the foundation of all other relationships. How are you honoring that sacred commitment?

Challenge:
For married individuals: Reflect on your marriage vows. What area in your relationship could
benefit from being more centered on Christ’s love?

For singles: Reflect on how your current relationships (friends, family, or dating) demonstrate
Christ’s love. Are you displaying faithfulness, grace, and patience?

Prayer:
Lord, whether married or single, help us to honor Your covenant love. Strengthen our
commitment to You and to others. Let Your love be the foundation for all we do. Amen.
