The Action of Obedience
Scripture: Mark 11:4–5 (NKJV)
"So they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside on the street, and they loosed it.
But some of those who stood there said to them, 'What are you doing, loosing the colt?'”
Reflection:
What makes this moment powerful is not just Jesus’ command—but the disciples’ response. They moved without hesitation. No delays. No debates. They acted in trust. That kind of obedience is rare and radical.
In a skeptical world, it’s easy to second-guess or demand every answer before we act. But faith often means obeying before you fully understand.
Prompt for Prayer:
Lord, help me move from hearing to doing. Strengthen my resolve to obey even when I have questions. Let my faith be stronger than my fear, and my trust deeper than my doubt. I want to live a life that says “Yes, Lord.”
