Invitation to Discipleship

Glorifying God, Healing Lives, & Inspiring Hope

"Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy," - Psalm 107:2

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." - Philippians 4:6

“For God so loved the world that He gave his only son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  — John 3:16

We are so excited that you have decided to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. We at Union believe this is the most important decision you will ever make!

The only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. It is wholly the work of God’s free grace and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works, goodness or religious ceremony (Ephesians 2:4-10). Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ by the renewing of the Holy Spirit.

“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" - Acts 2:38

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." - Matthew 28:19

The ordinance of baptism by immersion is demonstrated in the Scriptures. All who repent and believe in Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized as the first act of obedience as they are physically able and have opportunity. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward spiritual renewal and rebirth. Thus, they who are baptized declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life (Acts 10:47, 48; Romans 6:4).

"Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it." - 1 Corinthians 12:
